  Seriously, you could not get a better location, it really is in the heart of the royal mile and only 5 mins walk from the railway station. Up the line to be prepped. They also stored our bags so we could enjoy the afternoon.   We are a family of 6, with children ages 2, 8, 14, and 17. We stayed at the Thistle Street Loft. This provided the best value for our family. Jon was also very accommodating to our needs. We were suppose to arrive after lunch, but due to delayed flights, we didn't arrive until after 1AM!   There is NO better place to stay. The staff is simply wonderful... Especially Harvey! This is the most ideal location.. You are by everything! It made my hop on hop off tour kind of pointless because of the fact you are that close to everything...and the flats were fantastic!! They are very accommodating, helpful, and considerate. - 1) Location for sight-seeing. 2) Facilities included kitchen and washing machine in apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped for its purpose as a travel accommodation. 3) Separate bedroom, so if you travel with someone whose sleep schedule is different than yours, they will not have to wake you up. I don't know how much the company will accommodate your request, such as for a quiet apartment, but they supposedly do have different properties under their management, so it's worthwhile to ask.
