  We stayed in a family room in the annexe, next-door to the main lodge - very warm & clean. It was great to park our car right beside our bedroom window & have our dog stay. The en-suite 'rain-shower' gave out plenty of hot water, any time of day. Complimentary toiletries & spotless white towels were much appreciated. Lights, shower, door lock, some TV channels - worked. Efficient, courteous and effective staff at breakfast.

  We were on a National Trust property tour and this was an ideal stop off point to visit three in that area. Very friendly helpful staff. Very pleasant chalet type rooms. Super food and beer! Also close to visit Cambridge. This girl goes out of her way to make sure your guests are well taken care of and I say that not just from how she helped me but I saw her helping other guests. A 10 minutes' walk to the city centre. Great!
