  This feels very much like a hotel from the right decade. It's very modern, lots of design thoughts, rooms are small (container-sized, not a coincidence) but they feel a lot bigger than they are due to the very good design. Rooms have music, mood lightning, lightning, blinds controlled by a remote.   First of all, I would like to say that I definitely would stay at the Glasgow Grand Central Hotel when I return to this wonderful city…especially since I travel by train. How convenient…the hotel is attached to the station. The history of this property is wonderful to read. I was impressed that Gene Kelly, Nat King Cole, Jimmy Durante, Roy Rogers ... was die leute sagen » and would you believe that Trigger even stayed in the hotel. Yes, presidents, princesses and the elite of the world…slept here. I would to thank Laura - This was our first visit to Scotland and we could not have had a more phenomenal start. The front desk staff were wonderful and welcoming. Ross and AJ who staffed the concierge desk while we were there were outstanding. We neglected to complete a VIP card for these two gentlemen and should have. We were a little frazzled as we got lost entering Glasgow and Ross was helpful, provided directions to parking, looked after our bags and assisted with ideas for how best to see Glasgow. AJ directed

  After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but please don't let the bad reviews put you off. My stay was wonderful. Easy to find, the receptionist who greeted us was polite, and helped us pay for our parking. The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave. As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay. Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.
