  After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but please don't let the bad reviews put you off. My stay was wonderful. Easy to find, the receptionist who greeted us was polite, and helped us pay for our parking. The place was very clean, and it was obvious they'd cleaned the room and changed the beds in prep for our stay. Br... was die leute sagen » eakfast was basic but tasty. The hotel itself was very quiet, and I didn't expect it to be as there was a lot of football fans staying at the same tim - Comfortable warm room,good clean on suite facilities.I didn't try the breakfast which was included so can't comment on that ,the lady who checked me in told me where to park ,gave me a large map and gave me good directions to where i was heading !.

  Room was clean with comfortable bed, practical shower and washbasin. Toilet in separate cubicle. Staff were friendly and helpful and public areas were clean and practical. I had read some unfavourable reviews after booking, but in my experience the hotel provided excellent value for money. Also, a variety of eating places in the complex offering burgers, Me - I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs. The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave. As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay. Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.   Handy for train station to Glasgow. Very helpful and efficient staff particularly reception and cleaners. Plenty of staff on for all jobs in the hotel so no waiting for service. Rooms tho' small are well equiped and clean. Have used for family visits and meals for over 18 years. Indeed the public lounge bar was being refurbished during the last visit and it s - Everything. The rooms were small but had everything you needed. We have recommended this hotel to friends and family and are planning our next stay...

  We spent only one night in this hotel but I would definetely recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow. We had a small room with shared bathroom. Both room and the bathroom were very clean. For this price it was a good deal. We parked the car just outside the hotel and bought a 2 pound parking ticket from receptionist for the whole afternoon untill ... was die leute sagen » 12 P.m next day. - We were interested in art galleries and museums and so the location was excellent. It was also close to an underground station and the Botanical Gardens. Our room was very spacious and clean. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

  Nice breakfast, good service and a pretty Victorian townhouse. Very near underground station Kelvinbridge on a quiet street. Situated near Kelvingrove Art Gallery, which is easily reached on foot through Kelvingrove park, a lovely 10 minute stroll. Supermarket is also nearby. The bed was comfortable but I helped myself to a second duvet a) because I'm old and chilly. b)because it was very cold weather c) because I didn't know how to turn on the radiator!   Had read some dodgy reviews and was a bit cautious about booking. The place is nothing special from the outside, but I got a friendly welcome and was reall surprised by how nice the room was. It was spotlessly clean though the bathroom (which was a bonus as I had booked a room with shared facilities) smelled a little of disinfectant.
