  Having read some reviews we were quite well prepared and so asked for an apartment with the bedroom at the back (apt 2). The flat itself is gorgeous. Very luxurious, nice wooden floors and great sofa, TV etc. very special. The location is also brilliant, just two - My Young Street Apartments are located in the new section of town, a 15 minute walk from the train station. It's a great location to see the city. We stayed in apartment 2, which was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious, with a newly refurbished bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large sitting room in addition to the comfy bedroom. The apartment faces a great pub, but because the bedroom is situated at the rear, we didn't hear any noise at night. We arrived a bit late, so the ren

  Wir haben keinen Vergleich zu anderen Hotels dieser Kategorie auf der brittischen Insel, weil wir das erste Mal dort Urlaub gemacht haben. Aber wir waren mit unserem Hotel zufrieden. Das Personal hat sich mühe gegeben, das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, das Frühstück war reichhaltig (aber ohne Wurst und Käse) aber auf Wunsch sehr "Britisch warm" (... was die leute sagen » Rührei,Spiegelei,Speck,Bratwurst,Blutwurst....). - Die Lage des Hotels ist günstig. Um das Zentrum zu erreichen muss man nur geradeaus gehen, ca. 20 Min zu Fuß. Eine Bushaltestelle ist aber auch vor der Tür. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichlich (enlisch als auch kontinental), das Obstangebot einmalig. Begrüßungswhisky im Zimmer fanden wir auch toll. Ein ganz toller Service war die 24 h Bereitstellung eines PCs mit kostenlosem Internetzugang.

  The whole experience at The Hostel was great! the employees at the Hostel went out of their way to help you with any kind of problems and queries. You felt like you where more around friends than just an ordinary guest. The breakfast was useful and for 2 pounds very sufficient. The hostels atmosphere and areas where very spacious and made it easy... was die leute sagen » to mingle and meet other traveler or just find a quiet corner to read a nice book. The showers and kitchen where among the better once I have seen in - The staff is great and stayed up late to be able to check me in even though it was past their reception hours, and she had a great and fun attitude even though I had woken her up. The hostel wants to become the best hostel in Edinburgh and are open to critique which gave me the sense that I was a honored guest and I felt very welcome. A pretty good hostel.

The bedrooms had ample storage space and wardrobe areas so were great. Overall a lovely clean apartment.

  A lovely apartment (Haddington Place), which despite being on a very busy corner is quiet (esp. in the bedrooms) with loads of light. The lady who checked us in (Fiona?) was very pleasant and helpful - good restaurant and shopping suggestions, and handled the fact that the en-suite bathroom was unavailable due to a leak they couldn't find by provi... was die leute sagen » ding a good discount. Excellent location for everything (bus stops are about two blocks up, so no loitering near-by). Linens provided were very nice. - There's nothing to complain about this beautiful modern, spacious apartment. We travelled with our 25 yr old daughter. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street. We did not mind. There are buses going that way every 10 mins. Apartment had a nice homely feel with a lovely private garden which we enjoyed. Much better than living in an hotel room. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
