  I am from Edinburgh so am familier with the area and new that it was on the outer limits of the city centre. But I walked from there into town on Sunday morning pulling a suitcase and it wasn't far atall. Even with sore feet from the night before! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The wiifii access is quite fast and the access code is in a drawer. Wasn't told - This is a charming small hotel, easy walking distance to City Centre. It has a comfortable little bar,reasonably priced, didn't sample the bar food but if the breakfast is anything to go by I'm sure it'll be excellent, as was the breakfast -freshly cooked to order, as much tea/coffee and toast as you want. The room was spotless, freshly decorated and beds comfortable,the bathroom was spotless too - good shower.Parking for a few cars on site. I will definitely use this hotel again.

  I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. They made me feel at home. Thank you guys!!! I really enjoyed staying at your hostel. I hope to come back in the future. Fabiola - It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

  We were going to Edinburgh for a few days so wanted somewhere reasonably priced. From the outside it looked tired but once you stepped inside it was freshly painted, our too. Was a twin and very spacious again freshly painted and bathroom newly installed. Bed Lin all new we couldn't fault it at all.   Kleines, sehr persönlich geführtes Guest House. Ein Nichtraucher-Haus. Mein Einzelzimmer hatte einen separaten Eingang und eine einwandfreie Nasszelle, außerdem mindestens doppelt so viel Schrank-, Stau- und Regalraum, wie man als Einzelreisender benötigt. Waterboiler und reichlich Tee- und Nescafe-Beutel ohne Aufpreis. Wenn man keinen Wecker dabei... was die leute sagen » hat, dann wird man 20 min. - Das Personal war sehr sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit .Ich hab mich dort genauso wohl gefühlt wie Zuhause und kann nur eins sagen " besten Dank " für die schöne Zeit !
