  First of all, the location was extraordinary. The sea (Firth of Forth) is just behind the hotel and you wake up, seeing big steamships and small fisher boats on the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially at the restaurant. The rooms are tidy, have a huge TV, a sweet bathroom with bathtub and shower. Just in - This was our first stay at a Premier Inn. The hotel is clean, the rooms were spacious. The staff was very helpful. The views of the water were beautiful and our family enjoyed walking along the quay. The breakfast served at the restaurant next door was perfectly fine. We ate at the nearby Prezzo for dinner. Although we had a car, we caught the bus at the conveniently located stop directly across from the hotel. Definitely the right decision given the traffic and apparent lack of parking. This h

  I arrived at a very unusual time. Whilst I didn't meet a member of staff the help I received over the phone was fantastic. This is a value for money hotel, which is what I wanted. To be honest I couldn't fault the place. They even contacted me after I'd stayed to let me know I'd forgotten something and offered to send on!   The Dene Guest House was the perfect choice. Not only I was provided with a clean, spacious and beautifully designed en-suite bedroom with great views but I had as well the valuable help of Ilio and Hamish in every possible aspect (from giving advice on how to spend leisure time to pointing me in the right direction whilst I was looking for a job ... was die leute sagen » in the city). Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. I had the small room with a tiny ensuite bathroom on the top floor, but I knew that beforehand and I do not need much space - so it was perfectly ok for me.   This was my first stay in a Tune Hotel and my first trip back to Edinburgh in 20 years! I have to say I was very impressed. I didn't check in until late at night and the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome, stating, 'we've been waiting for you'.   The whole experience at The Hostel was great! the employees at the Hostel went out of their way to help you with any kind of problems and queries. You felt like you where more around friends than just an ordinary guest. The breakfast was useful and for 2 pounds very sufficient. The showers and kitchen where among the better once I have seen in - The staff is great and stayed up late to be able to check me in even though it was past their reception hours, and she had a great and fun attitude even though I had woken her up. The hostel wants to become the best hostel in Edinburgh and are open to critique which gave me the sense that I was a honored guest and I felt very welcome. A pretty good hostel.

  Smart at iQ, Edinburg was a very pleasant surprise for us. Perfectly located: less than 20 min walk to the castle and to the train station, bus stop for the airport right at the corner, restaurants and shops around. A perfect location for someone who wants to visit and move all day and have a proper and comfortable place to sleep. The - The apartment complex itself is very secure. The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space. The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.
