  Having never stayed at this type of lodging we were a little hesitant and unsure what to expect after reading the reviews; however we were pleasantly surprised! We had an amazing view of the castle, and a large spacious room. Location is close to everything Edinburgh has to offer if you don't mind hills, there are lots of taxis nearby as well. A reasonable price for a city location so was not put off going. I was able to be in the same flat as friend I went with. We were able to make use of the kitchen which saved money for eating out. The staff were very friendly and fun.

  All our stay was perfect. The bedroom was just like the one in the pictures. Very clean and comfy. Great double bed. Perfect with tea/coffee/chocolate facilities in the room. Double glass window. The location is excellent, walking distance to all attractions. There are road works going on, but these won't interrupt your stay and should be over soon. We were greeted on arrival in a friendly way and shown our very clean and spacious room, with bathroom ensuite. Our host offered an excellent recommendation for a pub for dinner.
