  The apartment was very neat and clean. It was well furnished. The Kitichen was well equipped. The overall ambient was very good and rich. the owner Mr. Murat is very courtious and good person.   Apartments are spacious, clean and tidy, well-equipped, would highly recommend for a family holiday. The personnel is very friendly (reception in the neibouring building, literally 10 meters away, very convenient), organised transfer to/from the airport, tours etc. The flat is located a bit off center but still it is 15 min walk to main sights. Th... was die leute sagen » e accomodation was very cheap compared to any others of the same standard we saw without loss in quality. - Loved the Location as it is fairly close to all the major tourist spots like Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Bascilica Cistern. Free Wifi available in the room and the speed was great. The guy managing the place was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone to stay.

  Location was great, 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and located in the intriguing, fascinating old town. The apartment seemed brand new inside, with a lovely kitchen (which we didn't use due to the sheer amount of kebabs and cakes that were consumed outside), very nicely presented, Wi-Fi, TV and living room. So to summarise, great apartment, great lo - The location is perfect for people who visit Istanbul for the first time. The owner offered free airport pick-up if you book more than 3 nights, which helped us a lot since our flight arrived at Sabihah airport, which is really far far away from the Sultanmehmet district.   We travelled as a family of 5 with a young 18 month old child and stayed in the family room - Hassan and the rest of the hotel staff could not have been more hospitable and helpful. They are a credit to the hotel making us feel very welcome in a genuine way - fantastic location - stones throw from all the main sites, ayasofia, hippodrome square, b... was die leute sagen » lue mosque, Turkish baths, cool shops, basilica cistern to name just a few - price was very fair compared to other hotels - large family room with ple - Location - Only a few minutes walk from the blue mosque and another few minutes will take you to Ayasofya and other major attractions. There was a mosque too right next to our room, but only for males. Market - we arrived on Wednesday and there was a market selling fruit, vegetables, cheeses and much more. A good way to save on food! They provide a small gas burner and basic cutlery, you might want to bring a small pocket knife.

  Papatya apartments are excellent located, right at the heart of Sultanahmet old town and very close to all the major sites, especially Agia Sofia. They are nice and clean, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.   The hotel staff are very friendly, cheerful, accomodating and helpfull. The hotel atmosphere is cosy and homely. Breakfast is wonderful and the room very clean and cosy. The room has coffee/tea facility but they provide hot water in a flask. Having a small child, I need an electric kettle to make milk at night. My only regret is that was not able to say goodbye an - If you look for a perfectly located hotel with local flair, you will love Djem. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms
