Istanbul Hotels

After my company had booked a room for me at this hotel I took a look at the LetsBookHotel. I got a little bit worried after reding the reports. Fortunately I had a quite opposite experience. The straff was very friendly and helpsom. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was good. The view to the sea was exellent. Brekfast ok. It was not 5-star standard but definetly better in all ways than the 4-star hotel on Manhattan that I stayed at a couple of months ago. The hotel is close to the - Phillip

Last week (01.aug.09-06.aug.09) I stayed in Vicenza hotel with my husband and our son. All compliments first of all to the property and second to the staff of this hotel. Excellent location, modern design, exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms are some of the major points of this hotel. On top of the roof is a good size swimingpool with comfortable chairs and umbrellas and it is free for the guests of the hotel. Very comfortable hotel. Place near the road interchange. Some importunate district, but you can pass this streets by tram or bus. Three tram station to the Sutltanahmet square. - Peter

We stayed for 3 nights in Nippon Hotel in early June 09. Our flight arrived at 7:30am and were given early check-in. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even wrote the destinations we were going to visit in Turkish so that the taxi drivers and bus drivers can alert us where to alight. The rooms are clean and we were given a selection of pillows to choose from. Breakfast selection is good with many items to choose from. The only thing I did not like about the hotel i - David

My husband and I recently stayed at the W Istanbul. What a fantastic hotel! The staff is beyond friendly, the decor is exquisite, and the room was simply marvelous. The hotel is in a great location away from the touristy area of Sultan Ahmet. Every morning, we walked to the Tram station, which is 15 mintues away, and took the tram to Sultan Ahmet. The Tram only costs a couple of Liras. There's a very nice Italian cafe next to the hotel called Nero. Enjoy! - Andres

Good location just off Taksim square. Metro, funicular, shopping street just around corner. Easy access by funicular and tram to Sultanahmet area. Nice bars to have some Efes near by. Hotel is clean. We had a big room on non smoking floor. No problems with aircon/heat. Staff was very friendly. Very special thanks to the breakfast buffet cook for extra service (sunday 15th of March)! Yes, it is a long way away from the airport. But $22 TL (approx) isn't bad. The staff has always been very kind. The trip in June 2009, front desk staff was a bit stand offish, but the quality was still very nice. The food is very good. The 15th Floor Bar and Lounge is very nice. Hotel carries a very nice selection of adult beverages. The staff is very accommodating. Even went to the extent on the May Trip that a friend wanted Jim Beam but we had arrived late and the 15th floor was already close - Nicholas

I stayed at the Ceylan Intercontinental for 4 nights with my husband. We were upgraded to the 18 th floor, the club level and the room 1824 was lovely with an excellent view on the Bosphorus. Great location , 2 minutes walking to Taksim square and Istiklal street where all the shops and restaurants are. The staff are friendly. Stayed at the Mosaic Hotel in Istanbul while on a group tour with Gate1. The hotel was only recently opened and, as such, everything was modern and clean. The staff was responsive and pleasant and the location was great - it was within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar which I loved. The breakfast buffet was adequate - various cheeses, olives, juices, an omelet making station and different breads were offered each morning. I did find the bathroom to be very, very small. Stayed here for 5 nights and we are totally satisfied. Nothing was bad! People are very friendly and do speak good english. Service: Check in and out was done within minutes, Roomservice came within minutes, Ironing board within 1 minute. The suitcases where immediately taken from our hands and put into the taxi, room was every day perfectly cleaned. Interior is great, bed is comfortable. The spa area which you can use for free is already worth the stay. Never been in europe to such a clean and - Eliza
