Friendly, warm and very welcoming. The apartment was nearby the hotel and had a nice view of the blue mosque. It is walk up apartments and my 73 year old mother and 2 young kids had some difficulties but the room was comfy and the view nice so they didn't mind walking.   We greatly enjoyed our stay at Byzas and wish we had known about it on the two previous occasions when we had stayed in Istanbul. Some of the reasons for our enjoyment are listed below. Staff is very friendly, we stayed at other hotels in Istanbul and this was by far the most friendly we stayed in. Its nothing chic, it's a basic room, but it's very much worth the money. We had the top floor with the balcony/patio overlooking the Sea of Marmara and our neighborhood. Very romantic and very beautiful.   Management of Mihrimah Apart was very polite and helpful. Especially Mr. Ahmet was very friendly. And he is very good english speaking. This was my 5th stay at Istanbul. Different to other hotels in Istanbul, at Mihrimah Apart everything (TV, WLan, hot water supply,air condition, refrigerator, and service) was working poperly as expected. The beds were - We booked the 3 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Mihrimah Apart is situated in a quite and nice area, within walking distance of historical sites such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Topkapi etc. It is also very close to the Sultan Ahmet tram stop which allows easelly travel to other tourist attractions.
