  Very quiet and comfortable. staff are lovely, English language could be a bit better but we had no problems at all. Food in restaurant is reallllyyy good and very well priced. Try the massage, we loved it and had one every day at 5.00pm.   The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We loved that The Countryside was a walk from the busy town, and super quiet amidst the rice paddies and mountains. We were able to hike out of the hostel and to a waterfall (6 hours round trip). So close to nature! I also appreciated that we had a fan and ac, so could decide to use one or the other,... was die leute sagen » but even in March we didn't need either because it gets so wonderfully cool at night. - The view in mountain and green field are fantastic! But still not far at all from the main walking street (walking distance on the main road) and there's also a free shuttle running till 10pm. Amazing endless pool in a perfect scenery.   Location is not really on walking street, need to turn a bit to small soi, probably only 20 meters. For me this is very good location. If the resort is located directly on the walking street, during the holiday season, it might be too busy. The resort is very safe and well equipped (at least in my room). Small pavillion in the middle of the villas... was die leute sagen » is common area for guests, is comfort. However, if a big group occupies the area, it might annoy others. Pai river is just only short walking distanc - Great place. Close to night market but still quiet and protected.we took the family room which was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. Relaxing inner yard is great when you come with kids. Most important the staff, Ben and Nungning are so nice, friendly and helpful, not in order to sell you some thing but just because they are nice people.
