  The location was perfect, the hotel staff didn't speak much English but I found this was not a problem as they went out of there way to help you with any requirements asked of them. Truly a paradise, wonderful garden (forest) with some wild life, very well taken care of and designed with small beautiful lake and nice alleys, very beautiful beach and very nice villas scattered in the forest or near the beach.   The hotel was quiet, enjoyed the location being away from the hussel and bussel of the towns, Some really nice and cheap restaurants 10 minutes walk away.. Tom's was a good one and I would go back.. the Hotel resuarant was also very good but Tom's was much cheaper.   Hotel building style with Thai chalets having wooden floors made a nice change from normal blocks. Good food reasonably priced. Well worth a visit for 3 or 4 nights. - The staff was very friendly. We loved the hotel restaurant and the big tree bar. It was an excellent hotel for a very relaxing week.
