    The location is right on a beautiful beach, ideal for lounging on or strolling along to the various restaurants along the sands. The staff are extremely helpful, and very friendly. Briliiant accommodation, especially Hydro pool rooms, relaxing place to stay. Loved every minute of the stay, for the third year in a row, hoping to make it a fourth. ... was die leute sagen » - We stayed in a beautiful room with a small private pool. It was clean, the service is good. Breakfast is OK only. Beach is good, although the area has better ones in terms of sand softness and water depth.

    The whole atmosphere @ Buddy!! I'm planning to return to Koh Samui as I fell in love with the place & Buddy Oriental. The food was of supurb quality and quantity; I take my hat off to the head chef Gina who works tirelessly to ensure all runs smoothly & is an excellent cook. I can even buy Thai Baht from my local anz - I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly. the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers. The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.
