  The annex rooms are brand new and spotless though a little spartan. The balcony provides a view over the rooftops to the distant hills (4th floor). Next to the night market with its good selection of restaurants. A ten minute stroll to the beach.   This was a surprise! Wow what a beautiful little hotel... Zen comes to mind. Beautiful large rooms everything well thought through in every detail.. decor absolute first class. They helped us book plenty of day trips and packed us a breakfast when they found out we'd be checking out before the kitchen opened. Location was convenient for beach access (just across the street), and it was easy to grab a taxi to head to the tourist streets - Loved the open-plan design of the public rooms. Watching the geckos took me back to my childhood in Vietnam. Loved the staff, especially the lady who taught me a new Thai phrase every day. Food was good. Room was large, comfortable, with good air-con. Swimming pool was much better than I had expected from a small hotel. And the garden is great - my wife loves plants, and was in heaven.
