The owner and the staff are friendly, and also rent motorbikes for a fair price. The superior rooms are very comfortable, and good for a quite atmosphere.   I've truly enjoyed the 8 days I've spent in a hotel. As mentioned by one of the reviewers, Prathana beach resort is managed by a local Thai family. Those people are terrific! The resort itself is a good place to stay. You're not staying in a simple room in a crowded hotel, but in one of tiny cottages standing next to each other.
