  Staff was very helpful and friendly, smiling a lot even if not all of them could speak english, but they always tried to do 110%. Dorm room was nice, comfortable beds, enough fans. I also had laundry and breakfast there, very happy with service. I stayed there longer than I planned at first. - Great place to stay, just 5 minutes walking straight from the bus stop. It is really cheap but the rooms are well equipped and cozy. Even have mosquitonets. Staff is friendly and helpful and the owner a supernice guy. I enjoyed staying there, especially for what you get for your money and i could recommend it to everybody, even to families because it is not loud there at all. One of my favourite places so far.

  Sehr ruhige Lage, aber doch sehr zentrumsnah - mit dem Moped in 7 Minuten zum Nachtmarkt. Supernettes Personal, speziell beim Frühstück sehr aufmerksam - es wurde sofort immer nachgelegt und es war völlig ausreichend. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag auf Hochglanz gereinigt (wir waren 6 Tage). - Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Baan Soontre Resort.   Very nice hotel, 500 metres from the clock tower and night market. You could go walking with no problem. Breakfast is simple but goog. The recepcionist recommend us to do a one day tour with a private taxi that works with them ( Chian's taxi) that was excellent, he speaks english really well . We went to every point of interest (not white and bla... was die leute sagen » ck temple....that was our first half day) for 2300 bath both of us, starting 8.30 am and finishin 6pm. not including admision fees and lunch. We leave - The location was great, close to the Night Market and within walking distance from the Bus Depot and the center of the city, but far enough away to be quiet! The free breakdfast was wonderful! We discovered a great Tour agency-very honest and open to making tailor made trips. The Agency is called AA Fair Tour located 2 blocks east of the town clock tower. Talk to Kit-he seemed to be the boss! We highered a driver to go to the Golden Triangle-and stopped at both the White and Black Temples-a MUS

  This place was by far my best guesthouse this trip, maybe ever. It was squeaky clean, with well arranged rooms and lots of electic outlets to charge my gadgets. The staff was as helpful as their somewhat limited English would' allow, even telling me of an important change in the immigration office in Chiang Kong where I was headed.   This would be among the cleanest places that I have ever stayed in. The room are very light and spacious and immaculate. The all white an oyster grey curtains are fantastic and the decor is understated and vey refined - as good as any 4-5 start hotel in BKK or anywhere The staff were most obliging.
