  Everything was great! Comfortable and neat rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and enough to fill your tummy before a day of sightseeing.   The staff of the Hotel Alef was fantastic. They were all (and that is rare) incredible friendly and helpful and were willing to organize everything in a blink of an eye. They answered my e-mails sent before the trip promptly.The room was very basic, but perfectly clean and the bathroom was renovated. Location was perfect, right beside the castl - The hotel Alef was extremely clean and had charm and character, with great paintings and ornaments throughout. I loved the power shower and had no complaints with the breakfast buffet~ simple but effective. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking into Krakow centre. The staff were nice and helpful and my group of friends and I would certainly stop again :)

It is super clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff is bilingual and very informed of what is available to do in the city and for day trips. The price was incredible considering the location.

  Excellent hotel. 5/5. It is located just on the edge of the oldtown which is where you want to be. When you arrive at the airport get the train into Krakow (£2.50). When you arrive at central station walk through a gaint shopping center and the hotel is really near. We stayed in room 6/2 which was really lovely. I have stayed in hotels in SLovenia, Thailand, Paris, Barcelona, Turkey, Italy, Lebanon, Australia and Jordan in the past two years and no hotel has offered the friendly staff of Hotel Unicus. There was no pressure to tip or anything. The staff helped me with any quirky need or normal question I had. I don't think I have stayed in a Hotel which impressed me more in terms of the st - a wonderful place to stay, we arrived on a overnight train so turned up to the Hotel at 7.00am expecting to leave our bags there and check in later. The staff offered us breakfast and then said they would telephone us when our room was ready, they did about 2 hours later. Amazing...very clean, great breakfast selection. The ultra modern shower needs a better door to stop water going all over the floor.overall all very good, we WILL be back...

Michael the owner is very helpful, arranged airport transfer and excursions and even beat quotes we had got elsewhere. I would 100% recommend to anybody travelling to Krakow. I intend - The best thing was that it was so close to the main square. Can't get any closer if you don't actually live on the square. I stayed at the top flat on the right - 4 up I think it was. My room was great. With a slanting roof, big beems and really well done up. Small kitchen area and bathroom. Being a female staying on my own it was actually very okay that I had to open 3 locks to get to my room. Makes you feel quite safe - not that I have heard that it would be a problem in Krakow.
