  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable.   The most important thing I have noticed aside from the beautiful nature, is the friendly staff. From the moment we reach the airport and a young smiley man called Azmil as far as I remember who gave us a gray information about what to Do, and once we reached the resort we have been met by another very smiley and friendly Angung who took us to make... was die leute sagen » the check in from the jetty to the reception , and found a great room facing the sea and a room with well prepared cake for our anniversary . And I c - It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

  We liked everything! This is an amazing place to stay, and thoroughly relaxing. Each 'room' is a little house on stilts with its own balcony. Each one is unique. We liked having the very friendly cats around, Scrabble to play and a pool to swim in. Breakfast in your fridge makes for an extra relaxing stay (no schedule to stick to). If we ever - -My daughter cried when we left! We loved this visit to Langkawi. the Bon Ton was absolutely gorgeous with every attention to detail. I loved the room with the outside bath, my daughter loved the cats and helped out in the mornings at the animal sanctuary near by. The view over the water hole was particularly beautiful at sunset, and in the morning there were monitor lizards and kingfishers. The free cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and the staff were most happy to accomodate my request

  It was the best hotel and resort i stayed in during my visit to malaysia, truly a luxurious experience, starting from check in to check out, they were very friendly and helpful, the resort was modernly designed , amazing sea view from our balcony , such a relaxing place, the view from the pool was breath taking, the breakfast in the morning was ... was die leute sagen » royal ! enjoyed every moment of my stay, i would definitely recommend it for any1 who want the full luxurious experience! - The buffet breakfast is one of the best in comparison to many 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. There were a couple of minor instances that I had to raise my concern about, however the Guest Relations Manager (Jana Zahranova) was very courteous, professional and helpful. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.
