Yes, the dinner buffet is expensive (like most food in Iceland), but if you're a meat-eater and you're hungry, you won't be disappointed. The roast lamb was delicious. So was the Icelandic meat soup and the marinated fish. Generous breakfast buffet included in room price.

The accommodations are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean.   We went to this Hotel in Jun 2013 as a young couple and really liked the Hotel. The location is stunning, remote but right next to Golden Circle attractions and close enough to Reykjavik.
