  Loved being in the heart of things - next door to the moulin rouge, in an area of paris that never sleeps. We were four storeys up with a full length balcony, so could watch everything from our apartment.noise was not a problem as he apartments are double glazed. But also loved the restaurants which were a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend 'L - Location: in the middle of a lively area that stays awake throughout most of the night (hotel is adjcent to Moulin Rouge), it is also 50m from an entrance to the metro. Still at night, if the windows are shut - the room is quiet and cozy. Size: it is certainly not large, but compared to other places at this price range we managed (with 5/8yr old kids) perfectly well inside - anything more may become an issue! Everything inside seemed to work fine, we even managed to cook one meal :) Price: exce

  We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We've been to Paris several times, and this was a short trip at the end of our holiday in the French countryside. Firstly, it's a lively location, with trendy bars and hipster cafes next door to cram-packed african hair salons. I guess it might not suit everyone - the area towards the metro seemed like it ... was die leute sagen » might be a bit edgy at night (street market) but in fact wasn't worrying when we got in near midnight (rather sleepy in fact). From our room we had a - The best booking ever: Warm welcoming, helpful staff always smiling (none is french), we were lucky with an upgrade for the same price which made our stay (3 nights) wonderful. The studio was very spacious, GREAT kitchenette, nice living room with flat TV, spacious and very QUIET bedroom with large bed and big cupboard. I appreciated very much the calm (3rd floor) despite the animated street. Also, appreciated that the toilet and shower were just in the entrance and separated from the rest with

  In Summe sehr gut. Viel Platz für 3 Personen. Die Nordseite ist angenehm kühl. Der wenige Lärm leicht zu ertragen. Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsnetz sehr gut. Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Frühstücksbuffet war zwar ein wenig klein, aber völlig ausreichen und um 9 Euro ok. Dies wird einem zwar angeboten aber nicht aufgedrängt (das finde ich ... was die leute sagen » angenehm). - Die Metronähe und die Lage insgesamt. Man hat in der Umgebung alles, was man so braucht (Restaurants, Bar, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Verkehrsanbindung). Man ist schnell im touristischen zentrum Paris'.

While the location isn't near the main tourist attractions, it is very close to Tolbiac metro. The area is local and not overpriced, adjoining Chinatown.
