  The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals.   After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

  The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. - We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly. The style of this accomodation is resort not hotel( this is normal in Tofino). Every cabins are separated each other. The one building has 6 rooms. That was so quiet. The room was small but cozy. The staff are so kind and friendly, they helped me join some activities.

  I really enjoyed everything about this B&B. For me, it was like an emerald in the forest. The entrance leading to the room and the room were tastefully decorated. Sabine actually makes this beautiful furniture in her workshop. It was built with the intent for a Bed & Breakfast...beautifully designed! It is brought - The hotel was absolutely beautiful. It's a wooden house in the middle of the rainforest and it has just two guest rooms. Every morning you get a fantastic breakfast for which the landlord gets up early every morning. It's a very nice lovely landlord couple who really make you feel welcome and kind of home. I would recommend this bed & breakfast definitely to everyone. We had such a wonderful time there.

  We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniv. in our middle 70's. This was a bit more expensive than our fixed pensions would normally allow, but it was special. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill and was "down for the count" on the Sun. and Mon. of our stay. These were the days we had planned special meals in Tofino. Never happend. Right out of our room we could see the beach only about 50 steps from our balcony. A surfers paradise. The beach is well used by others which as a new surfer gives me comfort. the boardwalk close by gives you multiple areas for sunset watching every night. this resort is fairly basic (no pools or hot tubs etc) however, we could have stayed there another week for sure. Highly recommend this hotel.
