The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

  Our Days Inn experience was very positive. We stayed one night while dropping off our daughter at the University. The location was close to restaurants and the University. There are many supermarkets around, all within 1-5 mins walk. Metro station is just 5 mins walk. I’ll stay there again.
