Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive. This is an amazing hotel which I would recommend to anyone I know needing accommodation in Vancouver. Absolutely fabulous. The front desk staff was rude when we checked in as was the bellhop They just kept telling us how if we touched the fridge we would have to pay!!Maybe we looked like we couldnt afford a 5$ coke,Im not sure however the concierge staff was very helpful!And that made our expierence! -

Everything worked - The location,of The Sutton Place was excellent for the area of Vancouver we wanted to visit. The staff were extremely professional and helpful and the overall quality of the hotel would compete easily with top ranking hotels anywhere.

The suite was very clean, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable. Glad we paid a little extra and got the suite with the balconies and fireplace. Location was easy access to water taxi, or a good walk over the bridge to get to Granville .Island. Granville Street was very close too, we walked it every night. It had many pubs and stores. Police were present, we always felt safe.
