  Annabel was super nice and friendly and very helpful. She has a delightful personality and looked after any question or request quickly and with a smile.   I was expecting a two star hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe in relation to its luxury neighbouring hotel it is a 2 star but in my experience this hotel would be at least a 3 star. It's over 180 years old but you would never know it based on how immaculately clean it is. Last, the staff were wonderful and the service was amazing; it is so refre - My flight was delayed and I arrived very late and the hotel staff was kind enough to stay up and wait for me to arrive, then carried my 38 lb bag up three flights of stairs to my room. The following day after I checked out the staff allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I shopped and had lunch, then called a cab to take me to the cruise port. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and I enjoyed my stay and hope to return for another stay in the future.

  We absolutely loved this place! The location can't be beat...one minute walk to all tourist sites but far enough off the main square to avoid being kept up at night with noise. The room was very cute..2 separate sleeping areas and a beautiful view of the neighboring park and St. Lawrence River. The room was immaculately clean as well. You can open your window which I like. It is quiet and clean, although nothing fancy.

  The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. Overa... was die leute sagen » ll, though, it was a great value and the rooms were certainly sufficient for a visit which allowed us to enjoy the best parts of Vieux Quebec. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).
