You can easily make trips to all the neighboring national parks or you can visit the Kicking Horse Mountain resort and enjoy the stunning view. Golden has some nice restaurants too … -> Heather and Bob will give you a warm welcome!   Upon check in, for an extra $10.00 they upgraded us to "The Victorian Room" which was a king suite with an in room hot tub! The staff was positive and great to deal with. The swimming pool was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Great value. Will stay there again. The staff were very friendly and obviously enjoyed their jobs, which makes it so much nicer to stay someplace. The rooms are upscale and the beds are very comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Lots of pillows!
