  We had a fantastic welcome. David was so friendly and extremely accommodating. He provided a complete breakfast and lots of information about the town and activities to to. The room was great.   Our host was fantastic - we arrived earlier than we were supposed to and she invited us to come in - our room (the King Room) was beautiful and looked out onto the garden. The gardens were gorgeous and the owner even let us use her own personal bicycle because the guest bicycles were already in use. The shopkeepers were happy and helpful. The sense of pride in thier town was evident, the architecture is something to see.

The town of Ypres has so much history concerning world war one and so many places of interest in the surrounding area. We have stayed in several hotels in Ypres but this was the best yet.
