  Extremely efficient - we arrived late on a Sunday and everything was laid out at reception ready for us - just pick up the key and go to the room!!!! Marvellous. The Hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, just puuuurrrfect.   We had a fantastic welcome. David was so friendly and extremely accommodating. He provided a complete breakfast and lots of information about the town and activities to to. The room was great. It comes with everything included, good shower, towels, soap breakfast table and tea and coffee. If you go to Ypres, stay here!   Our host was fantastic - we arrived earlier than we were supposed to and she invited us to come in - our room (the King Room) was beautiful and looked out onto the garden. The gardens were gorgeous and the owner even let us use her own personal bicycle because the guest bicycles were already in use. Breakfast was abundant and delicious - homemade jams, cheeses, breads and pastries, eggs, fre - The owner was very friendly. She was onsite and was happy to share local info with us. She prepared a wonderful full breakfast for us. The room was modern and superclean. Wifi signal was strong. I will book here again. The town was also beautiful and interesting. The shopkeepers were happy and helpful. The sense of pride in thier town was evident, the architecture is something to see.

  The hosts were excellent and without asking gave us maps and information on Bruges which was our next stop. The town of Ypres has so much history concerning world war one and so many places of interest in the surrounding area. We have stayed in several hotels in Ypres but this was the best yet.
