  I had a great time at Chatswood Inn. I can't say much about the room itself (it's OK but nothing special), but it was perfectly clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is quite close to Chatswood train station, which is about 15 minutes from the city center on a frequently served train line. Only youth hostel come at a lower rate, and I doubt any can compete with the cleanliness of this place. - It was very off putting from the outside. A house that had been turned in to a "hotel." It turned out to be very quite and comfortable. It is within walking distance to all the cafes, shops, restaurants and cinemas.

  Location in the Rocks is ideal for spending time in downtown Sydney. Quiet location with a parking bonus. B&B provided on the street parking for a very reasonable fee.
