  The location was perfect for our needs. On check-in/check-out I was attended by Luis who was so friendly and welcoming and from that experience the rest of our stay was superb. The Deluxe Studio was fantastic - so much room for 2 adults/2 kids. We had a great meal at the pub next door and plenty of other food options close by. The light breakfast ... was die leute sagen » was especially great value. Enjoyed a beautiful walk through Botanic Gardens and along Farm cove to the Opera House/Circular Quay. Price was value for - Everything is in the reach of a 20-min walk. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful and gave us thorough instructions of where to go, how to go, where to eat and shop and so on. The apartment itself was very comfy and clean, the building has a heating pool and even a sauna, which we used several times. The area seemed safe, there are lots of eating places and shops nearby. All in all, we were very pleased with our choice.

It is way more pleasant than staying in a high-rise ho - We arrived early (8:30am) from the airport and Ree not only let us check- in to our room but kindly upgraded us. So appreciated! The room was quiet, clean, and graciously appointed. Beautiful living room/parlor and yummy breakfast. Great neighborhood - quiet, yet just a block away are many restaurants. We had a very good dinner at a lively Italian restaurant down the street. Lovely walk through the Botanic Gardens to get to the bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay.

  I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I sat in the reception area. This lady's kindness was above and bey - Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.
