  Lovely, budget priced small hotel conveniently located right in Darling Harbour and just a bus or ferry ride to Sydney Harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff and as a solo traveler I felt safe and very much at "home" here for the 3 nights I stayed. There is a kitchen available to use which was handy as well as a grocery store a few blocks away... was die leute sagen » . There is no elevator which was not a problem for me but may be for others, however staff carried my bag up for me. Room and bed were clean and comfo - Location ,price , kitchen , fridge in room, Tele, i recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be 5 min walk from the center and darling harbor , who doesn't care where he sleaps at night as long there is a clean bed and a toilet and good price and anyone that visits sydney for a 2 to 3 day trip tops , the room was spotless clean and the staff where more than helpfull

  Firstly the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Secondly there is a very laid back and friendly attitude in the hostel. There is a core of young students/world travellers staying there that have been there a while. They are all lovely. It was nice to spend time with them. It's super super central - literally moments from Central Station, but tucked down a side street so it feels quiet. It's not flash, but it's clean, comfortable and good value for money.

  I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I sat in the reception area. The manager after asking me if I had been "left behind" I explained my problem, she very kindly took me to a ve... was die leute sagen » ry quiet lounge room where I could relax & wait for my companions return before going straight to the ship. This lady's kindness was above and bey - Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.
