The ladies who manage the property took very good care of us. We stay at B&Bs for the personal experience, and they didn't disappoint. One morning after breakfast (which was delicious every morning) they drove my wife and I to a tour's starting location to ensure we got there on time, and they even drove us back to the train station on the evening of our departure. Also, trust their guidance on fun and dining. It was genuine and accurate. Everything they recommended to us was great. Our roo.
所有评语 » The Catherine Ward House Inn is a lovely example of old Savannah elegance. Our room there was spacious and spotless in this beautiful Victorian setting. The innkeepers, Leslie and Sonja were delightful. It was like going to visit old friends and we were sorry to leave them. We felt so welcome and well cared for that it made our stay both memorable and special. Meals were beautifully prepared and delicious in a way that begged you to relax and enjoy, Savannah style. Their warmth and hospitality. This old house is gorgeous and the staff were very welcoming and most helpful with suggestions of what to do in Savannah. Our room and bathroom were large and decorated beautifully and the bathroom not only looked good but was very practical too. The cooked and served-at-the-table breakfasts were first class. They even shared some recipes! The location is about 15 mins walk from the really busy part of Savannah's old town but, for us, this was a plus point and allowed a pleasant walk through s. We loved the ambience and the difference in each room. The house had a great feeling of warmth and relaxation once we arrived we were greeted by the owner Leslie, and she exuded southern hospitality. The next morning we met Sonia who also exceeded our expectations, she was a wealth of knowledge about Savanna, we would go back there in a heart beat we fell in love with the Catherine Ward House and everything about it! Oh and the breakfast was to die for, maybe a little too much, but it was f. Everything First of my review that I rate for 10 !! (10/10) Without any exaggeration the nicest stuff I ever met in the hotel/BB. In fact those woman do not work there they just do it for pleasure!! Could really feel it, The breakfast like at mum's house!!! They provide you any help you need!! Very clean, very good location, very pleasant stay, If I come back to Savannah, I definitely stay there!! Those woman Rock!!!!! ;-). The room was absolutely amazing. Very cleaned, and cleaned daily. The breakfasts were amazing, absolutely amazing and Sonja and Leslie were part of why it was so amazing. Immediately the Inn felt like home and they made us feel absolutely welcome and were very knowledgeable about all the food, locations, and activities throughout Savannah. The location was perfectly in the middle of food, fun, and beauty. Leslie was a wonderful hostess. Our room was gorgeous, breakfasts delicious. Atmosphere in the inn casual, cheerful. We had a great stay at a historic inn! Common areas were lovely, pristine and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of reading material on Savannah. I loved my early coffees on our private deck watching day come, listening to bird calls. Sonja, Leslie and staff make you feel so welcomed from the time you arrive till the time you leave. They were very helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. Sonja helped us navigate the city during the R&R Marathon and the Vet's parade, saving us time and frustration...Huge help! Breakfast each morning very elegant. Very Friendly vibe!. Leslie and Sonja are awesome hosts and make you feel home, welcomed, well informed & directed and deliciously fed. The house is beautifully designed. The Location is perfect close to the park. The breakfast table with the other couples was a blast. We had a wonderful weekend. This is an attractive hotel in a quiet location, with lovely rooms and period furniture. Although limited in choice, breakfast is beautifully prepared and served. What really sets the hotel apart is the staff who are so friendly and helpful, you feel really welcome. The owner lady,was so helpful in everything,on the day of departure We had to pick up a rental car,and asked to book a taxi. No,she said,I will take you and also show way out of town. Wonderful. The breakfasts are superb,and great to meet other people. We had never stayed at a bed & breakfast before. The experience was a pleasant surprise. We would recommend the Catherine Ward House to anyone who enjoys good food, peace and quiet, and excellent service. Location in historic area, although about a mile walk to waterfront. Free parking. Breakfast was a very low carb type, but if you like pancakes or toast or biscuits you won't find them here. Owners were friendly, knowledgeable, willing to make suggestions and look up information for you. Food was unbelievable. Coffee was great and free-flowing. Charming and comfortable. We both loved the classy decor and the immaculate cleanliness along with their hospitality. The king room was great with jacuzzi and gorgeous bed and linen. Loved the location. Two minute walk from Forsyth Park and good restaurants. Restaurant recommendations were spot on. Breakfasts were superb. Very welcoming place to stay.leslie & Sonja made sure all our needs were met. Everything. The location was fine for us because we like to walk. If you don't, you'll probably want to have a car or be prepared to cab (which is easy and very cheap). Most of the action is down by the water, so we were walking north each day for most activities. But again, because we like to walk, we thought the location was perfect. It was healthy to walk off all the amazing and large meals we had in Savannah. Leaving. nothing. Just a few too many stairs for an older couple. Other than that everthing was perfect. Could not stay there longer. nothing. Nothing at all. We had to check out and go home. Our room was actually an annex in the back - not in the original old house. Breakfast was either 8:30 or 9:30 and I would have liked more flexibility. Bed could have used a bit of a softer topper. Very firm, but a bit hard for me. Mosquitos. N/A. Nothing. Nothing we did not like. Nada. Nothing. naught. nothing. very expensive for size and quality of room but I'm not really familiar with Savannah rates. carpet. Nothing.
