  After reading other reviews I was nervous about booking but needed a budget friendly hotel for our trip. This was definatly budget friendly. On check in Tony was very friendly. He gave us maps of attractions and the area and directions on several other occasions. The room we received did have a musty smell when we got in but it was nothing overbea... 别人怎么说 » ring. We did have a light bulb out in the bathroom but the others were enough to make up for the one that was out. - I was extremely impressed with the courteous staff and the clean spacious lobby when you walk in. The free breakfast was a surprise in that it had a very good selection of different items to choose from. The rooms were not incredibly new, but there was no smoke smell and everything in the room (even the bathroom) was spotless. The rooms were quiet and comfortable.

  Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed.   I met a friend for a week away and we both loved the hotel and its staff. We especially liked the shuttle service for airport and local transport to dining spots and the access to down town and the area via the highways that were very close. There are a lot of scary reviews of this hotel and I was worried but i'm 33..was going to visit my bf for his airforce graduation and I was pleasantly surprised.
