  Good hotel. Very clean, the included breakfast was nice, enough selection for all 4 of us to eat what we felt like. We got there a little early ( a little after 2) and they were very accommodating about checking us in early.   Our grandchildren ages 8 and 12 absolutely love the pool and beach. We were taking pictures of their sand castles well after dark on a Saturday night. We have stayed at Sandcastle several times before this trip during spring break. The restaurant food was tasty and satisfying; the kids menu (espcially the macaroni and cheese) was very good, too. - I enjoyed many of the restaurants in the area and I like the proximity to Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver. My mother has dementia and the staff are exceptional with her and it is one of the few places we can go to get away where we do not have to worry about her. She is comfortable in the suites and it is nice to have the two bathrooms

  Loved everything, pet friendly, quite expensive the pet fee though, but the hotel was truly nice! Very clean!! I have stayed in places with hair in the bed, and trash in room still... Not this place, was sparkling clean, the kitchen was really nice, brand new stainless steel appliances, super comfortable bed and pillows.... It is a 20 min drive from Seattle Premium Outlets. My husband and I wanted to go out and have a few drinks and they have a shuttle that drove us to a local pub and then picked us up after.

  We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our room turned out to be complete suite! The best surprise was that we were not charged more for the use of the suite! It was as complete as a condo - stove, fridge, utensils and pots and dinnerware provided. It also had a fireplace which we did not use.   Great location by the waterfront (Lake Union South). Very easy access to I5. Very quiet rooms. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was ideal for our family. The separate bedrooms are either side of the living room/kitchen. Great breakfast, nice (smallish) swimming pool and very quick and easy to get downtown via trolleybus.
