I was so sad that what we got was a large, uninteresting room for the price I thought I was paying for the beautiful Supreme Deluxe room in the hotel that I'd asked for. Not the tower.

  Our grandchildren ages 8 and 12 absolutely love the pool and beach. We were taking pictures of their sand castles well after dark on a Saturday night. We have stayed at Sandcastle several times before this trip during spring break. The restaurant food was tasty and satisfying; the kids menu (espcially the macaroni and cheese) was very good, too. - I enjoyed many of the restaurants in the area and I like the proximity to Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver. My mother has dementia and the staff are exceptional with her and it is one of the few places we can go to get away where we do not have to worry about her. She is comfortable in the suites and it is nice to have the two bathrooms

  This Hotel was wonderful. Spent our 20th Anniversary night here. The suite was very luxurious and modern. Staff found out it was our anniversary and put champangne in our room. Keep in mind, the Lusso is not a Five Star hotel, but it is a very nice hotel, and easy walking to downtown. Good beer next door. I had the grandchildren take turns staying with me to enjoy the pool and shopping; the hotel was really welcoming to these well-behaved children and we all enjoyed their stay. The extra cost for business floor and its amenities turned out not to be worthwhile for this - I have stayed here a couple times before. It is a perfect place to stay. I used to prefer large hotels. But since finding Heathman Lodge I always stay here. Ambiance is perfect! Rooms are spacious and perfectly appointed. Restaurant is gourmet.
