  Fantastic, safe location just a few short minutes by foot to Times Square and in the centre of Restaurant Row - in-house restaurant was great too and we had a few meals there - including room service.   I had stayed there before and enjoyed the traditional atmosphere hugely. I was pleased to see it offered at a tbetter price than other hotels close by.manhattan is nonetheless very expensive - Loved the location, ambience, room!

  Our stay at the Crowne plaza was a perfect choice for our holiday. Thehotel, the room and bathroom was so clean and also smelt clean, thestaff were also very helpful and polite. On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner. The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

  This was a perfect spot for us. We wanted to be close to the Thanksgiving day parade from which we flew in from Boston to see. Our hotel wasn't in the mob of millions of people but located just behind the crowd so all we needed to do was go back to the hotel to use the amenities. Friendleness of staff. The conceierge (Gerry) was particularly helpfull with our restaurant and helicopter flight bookings. The chocolates on the pillows every evening and following days weather report was a nice touch. Well stocked mini bar. Free morning papers.

  When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around. The staff: the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks Joey! ;-) + they can arrange transport to the airport, which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back there on a next trip to NYC.
