  Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants.   Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was very clean and very comfortable, breakfast was very good, the staff was friendly and helpful and no charge for parking which is a plus! I didn't bring mine this time, but I will! Breakfast is nice, but I don't make it by 10am :-( Can you extend til 11? The staff is super nice! The cleaning staff works super hard! I saw them sweeping the sand on the steps of the pier - that's awesome!
