  Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants.   One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, will definitely be coming again. The staff were awesome, especially Dutchess. The room was impeccable, loved the bed and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was light and delicious.
