  This was a great choice for me. My son graduated from Duke and all the hotels that were close were ridiculously expensive. Country Inn was maybe 20 minutes away by car and we loved it.   I liked that when I mistakenly left a bag next to my car and drove off without it (in Asheville, NC,a staff member found it and immediately turned it over to the management. I don't know who it was but the person deserves huge kudos. Hampton Inns are my favorite - once before (in Thomaston, ME)I left a precious ring. It - We stayed at the Hampton inn for our 24th wedding anniversary. We were greeted so kindly and was even given a gift certificate to a very nice restaurant as a gift for our anniversary. Even printed out menus so we could decide ahead if this would be a restaurant we would like to eat at. We were going to the Biltmore the Nxt day They gave us step by step directions to get there. We were very impressed we can't wait to go back and stay there again very soon.
