Real nice stay. Close enough to Saratoga racecourse without getting beat up on the room rates. Absolutely top class steakhouse on site which was pricey but definely worth the buck (as good if not better than any nyc. Steakhouse I've eaten in. Proximity to the highway a plus. Historic, gorgeous Inn with tons of character, both inside and out. Decorated in unique Adirondack style. Awesome whirlpool and indoor pool on the ground floor. Spa is renowned. Breakfast buffet in The View restaurant was delicious. Room was plenty big for three women and tastefully decorated. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

The staff. The library was a nice place to meet guests at breakfast time. The breakfasts were great and superb value. Lovely feeling about the place and nice local bar on ground floor. Very quite for such a central location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Loved our short stay here. Great location and charming inn - more like staying in a home than a hotel, which is especially hard to come by in New York. We had large, comfortable room on the main floor. Friendly staff (and friendly cat!), cozy breakfast room. We liked the bar downstairs as well. We will definitely come back here another time.
