  It was so close to Shea's that we could walk to our event. They gave us a room right by the icemachine and elevators as we requested. nice lobby to relax in. - Staff were awesome. Second time there second time impressed.

  I was attending a conference at NYU. The hotel is right at the heart of NYU and so was a convenient location for me. The beautiful Washington Square Park is just steps away from the hotel. Loved the look and style of the hotel. Staff was amazing and VERY accommodating.   The staff was very accommodating. In particular there was some confusion regarding a breakfast coupon that went with the cost of the room. They gave us the coupon without any discussion. The shuttle was wonderful as were the drivers. The pool was warm and clean.   The staff was excellent. Very courteous and welcoming. We had originally booked for 1 night and decided to stay in the area for an extra night. They were able to cheerfully accommodate us for the extra night with no problem. Both the female & male receptionists were considerate & prompt.

  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina.   Self-contained unit, safe secure entry, spacious with modern kitchen facilities. Plastic bowls and plates cutlery etc..but I guess it saves washing and breakage. Good clothes storage facilities. Most of the European restaurants are at the other end of Brooklyn near the bridge. Though there is a McDonalds ab - We were really impressed with the hotel. Surprisingly nice for such a great price.   We enjoy the porch and the view of the lake. The room and fireplace are cozy and relaxing. There was a wedding going on and we were treated to the fireworks that went off that evening for them! - I loved the view!!.. and the hotel room was nice.. the king sized bed was so comfy
