When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. I'd stay there again -

The location! Just two blocks away from Time Square. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around.
The staff: the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks Joey! ;-) + they can arrange transport to the airport, which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back there on a next trip to NYC.

The room was very comfortable and had every amenity I needed, including in-room Wi-Fi. Good variety at the continental breakfast. Very close to the airport, but not in a noisy area. Staff very helpful and prompt. Free shuttles to and from LGA airport also a plus!

As a national chain, you get a pretty standard deal. The bed was very comfortable, the room was nicely outfitted, they had free wifi, and they had a free airport shuttle. It was affordable and was fine for a stop over stay. The shuttle bus was efficient and the staff very nice. -

The location and the courteous staff! Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue.
