  Overall a mid-60's hotel redone nicely and tastefully. We had a suite which was a corner high up view room and was fine. Toiletries were a bit light but housekeeping kept things very tidy.   Proximity to the New Mexico Balloon Fiesta, historic downtown and Sandia Crest. - Helpful front desk--changed our room when told we booked 2 queens, not one. Also, told them of strong smell in the first room and someone went right away to check it out. The hot breakfast was better than average. Pool area looked nice though we didn't use it.

  I really liked this hotel. The price was great, the bathroom was spotless, the WiFi signal was strong, and I liked that their pool is open year round. The greatest asset of this hotel, however, is their staff.
