  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. - Location, Location, Location View is lovely!   The ambieance of the facility, the very friendly and helpful staff. The view and value of the price for the room and wonderful breakfast that came with it. Just an overall wonderful experience that was initially unplanned and immediately after we arrived we checked into the availability to stay another night. - The secluded seaside location.   Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. - Superb accommodations and a lovely edifice!

  The Stage Neck Inn was located on York Harbor and has a lovely water view. The staff is very polite and quite attentive and welcoming. Our room was an Upper Beach Room which had a distant view of the beach across the parking lot. If you are able to and there is availability, we strongly suggest that you book a close up water view. It's in a lovely setting right on the water. Unfortunately, we were there in mid-fall. I'd definitely go back during a summer.

  The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips.
