The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. We loved the beach camfire each night with Smores for the kids. All in all a great stay. we will definitely return.
所有评语 » I loved this hotel it made my stay that much better It had a very warm feeling I loved the fireplace in the lobby The pools and the hot tub area Where it was on the harbor just perfect A lot nicer than I thought it would be very well maintained Although people were working on the hotel for example the maids were never in your way and very quiet Very unusual which I liked. The staff was warm and friendly. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips. Excellent location in downtown Bar Harbor - very easy to walk around the town. The pool area was beautiful, and the hot tub was plenty big for more than just a couple of people to use at a time. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Walking out town right there Quietness, friendlyness, clean, you felt like a queen, going to tell my friend who works for triple AAA as travel agent to highly recommend this place. Location by the water, our view of the harbor was inspiring. Near Acadia. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable. The restaurant also served delicious food, like their Umbria Pizza. The staff was very nice , they gave my daughter a free apple juice in a cool kids cup, I would stay there again, they also have a place for kids to hang out,. Great place to stay. Wish our bathroom had had two sinks. But it was roomy, clean and very nice. Nothing.....perfect hotel and as good as it gets. Room 3021 has an obstructive view . Would have liked a better view. Price. We were surprised by the $50. daily spa fee, which we didn't use. It wasn't pointed out to me on check-in and I had to look hard to find a reference to it on my letsbookhotel.com confirmation. Had we seen it we certainly would have made it a point to use the spa. Or, we would have declined to pay it since our visit was so short. $100For something we didn't use and felt was "hidden" seems wrong. In order to not have to change rooms, as we arrived a day early, we were put in a much less desirable location, and charged more money. If we'd been shown the room first, we would have declined it and moved after the first night. The in room coffee wasn't restocked. We had to ask the floor staff for it. We were very disappointed. Balconies need cleaning of bird droppings. Makes sitting on balcony unpleasant. Absolutely nothing. The lobby is very dark. The lobby also does not offer fresh water or coffee at any time like the Samoset. What was supposed to be queen beds were much smaller. We never sleep apart but found it necessary there. Hallway & elevators way too hot!. No complaints. The facility was above average but not really what I'd consider a spa resort. Room and building was not spectacular. pool could have been warmer for kids. the dishwasher in our room was not attached to the cabinet and could be a hazard. Lighting in the rooms was poor. Room 2011 facing the pool which was in use 24/7. We were unable to sit on our balcony because of the constant noise/screaming from the pool. For the price, I expected a view. little noisy , not very soundproof. No smoking anywhere . no ice pks I felled in parking lot we rec'd 20lbs bag of ice. The price of coffee (2.95) in the morning. It should be FREE!!!!!!. They started teston alarm system at 3pm without any warnings, and kept doing it for 1h intermitently. The dust in the room and especially around the tv was thick enough to roll up !! Nice hotel let down by a little attention to housekeeping. Seemed like we were paying higher prices for the location convenience more than the resort itself. Over priced motel room! nothing special, very small normal room for the price. dirty carpets, lack of response to dirty carpets, priced too high.
