  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. - Location, Location, Location View is lovely!   Great golf resort...even though we don't golf. This was an rci resort so, it had many resort qualities. Internet was fast but charges applied as noted at booking. Surprisingly great fireworks on 4th of July evening. Restaraunt had free Wi-fi. - Almost everything.   Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  The Stage Neck Inn was located on York Harbor and has a lovely water view. The staff is very polite and quite attentive and welcoming. Our room was an Upper Beach Room which had a distant view of the beach across the parking lot. If you are able to and there is availability, we strongly suggest that you book a close up water view. Free cookies, coffee, hot chocolate, cider, and other beverages were provided daily for free. We had the Bed & Breakfast package with a full breakfast buffet daily. Two really good restaurants. It's in a lovely setting right on the water. Unfortunately, we were there in mid-fall. I'd definitely go back during a summer.

  The resort felt like a true New England Resort. I loved that it was removed from the hustle and bustle. The grounds were impeccably maintained.   The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips.
