  The hotel was in the perfect place to enjoy down town life whilst also being far enough from the main drag for the hotel to be quiet and peaceful; the facilities were excellent; the log fire was fantastic; the staff were exceptionally helpful. Sheron was a huge help (she helped frame a picture for a wedding present - a task which was above and beyond her remit). Brenda alwa - We stayed in the heart of the old historic district. The first night we got there we asked the concierge about a ghost tour we wanted to do. She took care of everything. She suggested the tour she thought was the best for what we were looking for and she called to reserve a spot for us. She also got us tickets for the trolley for our historic tour. Her suggestion for where we should eat dinner was excellent. All this at no extra charge. Very helpful and you can tell she enjoys her job.

  After a long & late train trip from FL we were greeted by Sade. Her wonderful smile, friendly & warm attitude and her enthusiasm greeted us. It was fantastic stay! - Without exception the staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, well- trained and delightful. There was a complimentary buffet in the early evening with free beer or soft drinks, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast is $12 and well worth it. We had delicious omlettes cooked to our own specification and everything else you could possibly want for breakfast. The room was very clean and pleasant. Our stay here was very enjoyable.

  I loved the balcony! I loved the bed, the quality of the blanket we located in the closet because it was a little cool on the balcony. I loved the bar and the bartender Kianna, she was so cool.
