  It's about 3 blocks away from the Metro which made it very easy getting to all tourist attractions. It was great to have a kitchen with us. I didn't find a supermarket close by, by CVS next door had many choices for us to make sandwiches to bring with us to our tours. The front desk was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. Staff was really friendly and answered all questions. Breakfast was not included but the little patio and terrace looked lovely! Price was also ok.

  For a city hotel, the room was very large easily accommodating 2 queen size beds along with an easy chair plus ottoman. The bathroom was down a hallway and had a dressing room with a bureau before the door.Khalid helped us with our car and our luggage. Everyone was so friendly. We were very interested in the complimentary wine hour, but since our morning was hectic we did not attend it. The location is perfect and 5 blocks from the White House. Also it is a 10 minute cab ride to Georgetown. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.

  Great place to stay if you know what you are going for. It does not have a front desk. It's all through a password you'll get in the e-mail. It's actually a house in those english styles neighborhoods. Everything inside was clean and nice. The room had a private bathroom which is great. The internet was also very fast. The - As long as you understand that this is a "guest house," not a hotel, not a b & b, and you understand that it is converted old home, you should have a wonderful time. Don't expect the staffing of a hotel. I chose it for the convenience to the Medstar Hospital complex and it was very easy to travel there. I loved the availability of shared kitchen and living spaces. The owner was very friendly, helpful and concerned that my stay was a success.
