  This was a work related trip so I did not get to do much in DC Area. I did like this Boutique Hotel, Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good Restraurants within walking distance - We were pleased to be so convenient to GWU Hospital while our brother-in-law underwent surgery for cancer and to find the hotel more than satisfactory.

  It's about 3 blocks away from the Metro which made it very easy getting to all tourist attractions. It was great to have a kitchen with us. I didn't find a supermarket close by, by CVS next door had many choices for us to make sandwiches to bring with us to our tours. The front desk was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. We had a room with a kitchenette and this was a nice roomy area to spread out in. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back to DC!

  This hotel was very convenient because it is next door to the Metro (Farragut West). It is also close enough to the National Mall to walk to the Museums. The staff was very helpful and stored my luggage for the last day so I could attend the Inauguration ceremonies.   Great place to stay if you know what you are going for. It does not have a front desk. It's all through a password you'll get in the e-mail. It's actually a house in those english styles neighborhoods. Everything inside was clean and nice. The room had a private bathroom which is great. The internet was also very fast. The - As long as you understand that this is a "guest house," not a hotel, not a b & b, and you understand that it is converted old home, you should have a wonderful time. Don't expect the staffing of a hotel. I chose it for the convenience to the Medstar Hospital complex and it was very easy to travel there. I loved the availability of shared kitchen and living spaces. The owner was very friendly, helpful and concerned that my stay was a success.

We are recommending Bridge - The one bedroom suite we had was well appointed, appealing and comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was wonderfully close to the attractions we wanted to see. The rooftop courtyard was a nice bonus - we could see a number of recognizable memorials / attractions from it. The parking took a couple fo turns around the block before I identified it, but the parking staff were excellent. Also, the parking price was one of the best for the accomodations I considered.

  Really great location on a busy street but the apartment faces the internal courtyard so is very quiet. The AC is also whisper quiet...a rarity around the US!
