Very nicely maintained bed and breakfast with clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and a convenient hot tub. The owners were very friendly and easy going. After checking in, we walked just a block to get to Commercial St, which is the main drag in Provincetown. Even though it was the off season, there were lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Later that night we hung out in the B&B's hot tub, which was very relaxing. The next morning we walked downstairs to fin.
所有评语 » I and my husband needed a little getaway and time off from our two kids. After browsing for the best deal we embarked upon Beaconlight Guesthouse. I think it was within average price for most bed and breakfast locations around the area. The location was clean, rooms were clean and i would not complain about the breakfast, although would have preferred hot breakfast but they provide you with yogurt, granola, pastries, coffee, tea, muffins. There is a roof deck that was the highlight of our last . The Beaconlight Bed & Breakfast is located just one block away from Commercial Street and the “P-Town” experience. The entry and reading area are impeccably decorated. The rooms have been recently decorated in bold tasteful colors. Although the website boasts fireplaces, I only saw a cast iron unit in the lobby. The rooms are quite small considering the price and only offer queen size beds. The third-floor deck offers a great view of the village, Pilgrim tower, and a glimpse of the Cape. Br. What a lovely place. Perfect location in the heart of Provincetown. Immaculate. The queen room was in reality a full sized bed with just enough room to get into the bed and get out. Decks outside our room were truly spectacular with beautiful flowers. Nice morning breakfast. The only comment is the inn's owner was borderline rude with his incessant cleaning up after each guest both in the kitchen and living room. We would definitely stay another time and would highly recommend. I thought my room was beautiful, quiet and very well thought out. I liked the fact that I could have a lovely home- made breakfast inside with other guests or go outside in the morning and have some quiet time as well. The gardens were lovely. The hosts were lovely and gracious and kind. I felt very much at home there and will be back. It's quite apparent that Keith and Mark are wonderful people that obviously love their home and guesthouse. Typical Provincetown quest house with nice Patios; very friendly staff, excellent location, right in the center but nevertheless very quiet, and they have parking lots, which is very rare in Provincetown; pull-out-Couch and Suite room was big enough for us and our two kids, although Provincetown is not the most kids friendly location this Hotel is; breakfast was nice together with other quest in the kitchen, good coffee;. The house was very beautiful inside. It had an upper and lower deck witch were so comfortable to relax and enjoy a view of the surroundings. Also, there was a hot tub. Everything neat and tidy and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was really, really nice. I would recommend the Beacon Guest house to anybody that came to Provincetown. it is a great experience in provincetown . Beasconlight House is very clean , comfortable and family style , you live in the hotel and you always get feeling like as you are at home . healthy breakfast make your energy at a rechargable level , very tranditional and beautiful dishes gave you a very historic empression. nice hotel and highly recommended ,. The owners, while not overly friendly, were perfectly polite and welcoming and I feel some previous reviews have been a little unfair. Gayle, the lady who serves breakfast (and bakes the scones) was warm and friendly. The ambiance, from the decor to the setting. Very relaxing. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and willing to assist in choosing excursions and dining. The house and grounds are emaculent. It's just a wonderful place to stay. It is very centrally located and within walking distance to most everything. Genial hosts. Excellent room, comfortable and historic. Good breakfast, with fresh organic foods. Sorry that we weren't able to use the hot-tub or sit on the decks because of inclement weather. Quiet and relaxing, even though in the heart of P-town. Great experience all around. I know parking is always an issue in PTown. The hosts were very aware and considerate of that fact and made us all aware that they would juggle our cars around to help us. Provincetown is expensive, and the weather can be challenging sometimes. It's difficult to find anything I didn't like. If I had to say anything...maybe add a lighted make up mirror to The Beaconlight suite?? But at such a serene place did I really need makeup?. No problems at all. it was a positive experience. Would have loved hot breakfast options, but there was a lovely cold breakfast buffet. Room nice but too small for two people. No place to sit except on the bed. Bench not comfortable to sit on. Could only watch TV on bed. Not really a breakfast that we usually experience. More like continental and they serve same thing every day. Front room had nice couches and chairs but I wasn't always comfortable sitting there. Felt like I was intruding. Mattress in our room needs replacing and pillows were pretty flat. Expected more luxury for the price. The breakfast can be more varied. One of the owners was not very friendly. My room was a bit small and dated. One of the owners seemed very grumpy and monosyllabic. Other staff friendly. Breakfast had good fresh ingredients but nothing savoury or hot, no eggs. We left a cut lime in the kitchen refrigerator for our second gin and tonic. By the time we finished our first, the reserved lime had disappeared. Thank God they didn't take the Gin. nothing to dislike. The room we had was on the small side. our room was a little small but almost all places in P'town are..not really a problem as you will spend almost all your time outdoors. Would have like tea and coffee in room, but no problem getting it from the well stocked kitchen. Even though we were there for 5 days, the owners weren't very friendly. I understand that it was the end of the high season, but I didn't feel particularly "appreciated" as a guest. Room space somewhat tight. Noise barriers, very small tv, and small parking lot. Very limited on site parking. the room was tiny. One staff member was snarky. We left a day early, kitchen staff said would have a staff member call me--never got a call. Room was tiny--hard to get anyone on the phone to get a better understanding of room layouts prior to stay. Hard to plan. N/A. limited car parking. Nothing. A bit expensive. We liked everything. Nothing. nothing. having to take off our shoes everytime we came in. I have nothing bad to say.
